A "YOU-Driven" Approach

Self Care Love Affair© is a program designed to provide you with maximum support, education, fun and community to help you make empowered choices for your health and happiness now. A "You-Driven" approach means that you will be provided with plenty of information and activities that will improve your health, plus have plenty of personal flexibility to make informed and self-directed choices. You can immerse your toe in the water and make just a few powerful changes that go a long way over time, or you can take a deep dive into the program and make many changes quickly.

How this Works

You will be given a SCORECARD to help you track your daily progress. 1/2 of the scorecard will already include 5 items that are proven-effective (across all diet and lifestyle theories) such as getting enough water, fruits & vegetables, sleep and daily physical activity, plus cutting back on refined sugar. The other 1/2 of the scorecard  prescription will be filled in by you. You will be given a list of things to consider adding and removing from your diet or life and you will make choices based on what you are most interested in trying now. You will earn points, just for being healthy!

You will track your progress every day for self care points on your scorecard plus get additional participation points for engaging in health coaching and education calls, meditation classes for stress reduction and resiliency building, Pilates and dance classes for movement, flexibility and strength, and a cooking class for increased skill and confidence in the kitchen. This integrative approach will addresses you as a whole person. And this combined package will help you restore balance, regain health, and make transformational changes in your life!

Schedule of Events

hearthug_br_removed_500wStarts with Kick-Off Event Saturday June 3rd from 10:00 am - 12:00, Center for Clarity  in Greenwood Village. You will receive your SCORECARD and Starter Kit, Your Own Supply of Healthy Skoop healthy skoop plant-based protein nutrition, plus OTHER GOODIES, program directions and details!
(alternative conference call will be held on Sunday June 4th at 7:00 pm for those who can not attend)

South Denver area walking trails and foothills. Locations will be announced

hearthug_br_removed_500w  Thursdays:  Meditation and Guided Visualization Class: 6:30 - 8:00 pm Center for Clarity

hearthug_br_removed_500w  Fridays:  Pilates and Movement Class: 4:30 - 5:30 pm at Pilates Plus, Greenwood Village
You will choose between a Friday FAC or Saturday am class each week, alternative time will be provided if you can not attend

Integrative Nutrition® Plate

The Integrative Nutrition Plate emphasizes the importance of local and organic produce, whole grains, high-quality proteins, plant-based fats, and water. It shows you how a plate should appear at mealtime and emphasizes the importance of proportions and portion size. To complete the picture, the plate is surrounded with lifestyle factors that create optimal health: relationship, career, physical activity and spirituality. I’ll introduce you to some of the healthiest foods on the planet and teach you how to find what’s healthiest for your unique body!

Primary Food™

It’s easy to overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfillment. It’s not just the food we eat that affects our health, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity, and a spiritual awareness are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary. I will support you in achieving all of your goals, from eating the right foods for your body to living an inspired, fulfilling life.


The concept of bio-individuality is the idea that each of us has unique food and lifestyle needs. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you to make positive changes that are based on your unique needs, lifestyle, preferences, and ancestral background.

Crowding Out

Many nutrition experts give their clients a list of foods to avoid and foods to eat, which explains why so many people are turned off by nutrition. My approach is different – by eating and drinking foods that are good for you, you will naturally have less room and desire for unhealthy foods. Simply put, you will “crowd out” the unhealthy food in your diet. This takes a little practice to make happen, but I will support you all the way.


Deconstructing Cravings

Cravings play a critical role in understanding what your body needs and shouldn’t be ignored. When you learn how to deconstruct your cravings and understand what they’re really telling you, you will be able to reclaim a sense of balance and harmony.
